Project description
The current research project focuses on the development of guidelines for the wine industry, which will aid in the proper handling and disposal of chemically hazardous wastes. The primary aim of the guideline would be to serve as a handy tool of reference for farmers and other users of environmentally hazardous waste products. This guideline will be completed with the environmental laws of South Africa being the first and foremost source of reference. It would also serve as a complimentary tool to existing guidelines for farmers and other users of these products. It should also be easily accessible to everybody.
